- When you start the game and kill TOR do NOT forget to go to the IE settings and UNCHECK the "use a proxy" option. It counts too.
- If you want to check out if the settings work it would be wise to avoid traffic-heavy japanese sites. Just try to open google.com — if it loads up in Japanese, then everything is fine.
- The beta will be over in three days. You are already too late.
- Now go to SETTING > Advanced and click the EDIT TORR button.
- See that window with some strange text you don't understand? That's the one you need. Now copy this:
ExitNodes server1, server2, server3
StrictExitNodes 1
and paste it ABOVE everything. Put the NICKNAMES you saved earlier in place of "serverX". Save and close the window.
- Now open up you IE, go to the internet settings > connections > LAN and put "localhost" for the ip address and "8118" for the port. This will basically tell IE to work with TOR.
- And that's it. Enjoy!
Alright, you better get your butts ready, folks, because now I'm going to explain how to make TOR work. Just pretend you're not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and proceed cautiously. I also got some screenshots to make it easier for you. See http://imgur.com/a/uy16m#QvLSD
- Get TOR browser here https://www.torproject.org/dist/torbrowser/tor-browser-1.3.24_en-US.exe
- Unpack and start it up. A Firefox window will pop up. Leave it be. Yes, it's called "TOR browser" for a reason. It's basically Firefox with TOR rubbed all over it.
- What you need to do now is press the NETWORK button. You'll get a huge list of available nods (wish your ♥♥♥♥ was that huge, eh?).
- Sort that ♥♥♥♥ by country and look for the men behind the sun (not many will get the reference (ain't I so cool and edgy, guys?.. Guys?))
- Found you some ♥♥♥♥, son? Good. Now right click on the nod and copy the NICKNAME — save it in a .txt file or something. You'll need several. 4-6 will suffice.
- Here's the tricky part. In order to start the game needs to update GameGuard, but GameGuard can't update with TOR and/or proxies on, so you need to turn them off. The exact moment when you need to do it is beyond my comprehension. You'll need to figure it out on your own. When I did it too early I got an error and had to start all over again. Do it too late and you'll get an error all the same. I have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC and this helps, because before starting the game spits in my face and says that I need to get a job and go buy more RAM — and this is a very good moment to turn off TOR.
- Congratulations, you're playing Tera in moonspeak! Go grind like there is no tomorrow and maybe have some fun. Don't overdo the fun part though.
Part 1.
Ok, infiltrating glorious japanese servers disguised with TOR is easy and similar to using regular proxies in a way or two. It goes like this:
- BEFORE you start TOR you go to http://hangame.co.jp
- Sign in like a boss.
- Are you man enough for this? You better be, because it's time to start TOR.
- With TOR up your arse go to http://tera.hangame.co.jp/gamestart.nhn and wait for the launcher to pop up.
- If everything is done right you should be already signed in in the launcher. Go ahead and press that START GAME button.
Run Reactor.exe
That's the client files from the Tera site. Test if they work. You might have to login to the Hangame site first.

1. Download and install the Packetix client for your OS of choice

2. Create a new Virtual Network Adapter then import the following setting file

3. Connect to MobileFree.jp
4. Launch Tera_Invoker.exe and log in
5. Disconnect from MobileFree.jp
6. Game Start!
Just in case anyone was having the same problem as me.

Instead of dealing with the problem, we're simply gonna go around it by tricking it.
I am still unsure as to whether you need to change your display language to JP or not for this to work. (Someone with a display language set to english pelase try this).
First off.
NO PROXY - Go to http://hangame.co.jp and log into your account.
WITH PROXY - Go to http://tera.hangame.co.jp/gamestart.nhn . There should be a page with 2 blue buttons.
NOW YOU WAIT. For the launcher to start (ExLauncher.exe in task manager). When it starts you should be automatically logged into the launcher itself and now all you need to do is wait for the big GAME START button to flash orange.
IF/WHEN GameGuard starts, quickly stop all your proxies/vpn's and whatever you're using. (on IE/proxifier/whatever).
YOU CANNOT START THE GAME THROUGH THE TERA_INVOKER.EXE LAUNCHER.
The only way to do it is via the guide I made several comments bellow THROUGH AND ONLY THROUGH the website. There is no other way to log you in the launcher without it throwing you off to the hangame.co.jp page to type in captcha in grorious nihonnese.

Means you're not in Japan, and you're doing something horribly wrong.
Ok so here's the deal. First off changing your display language & locale to japanese is what you need to do. Second go to Hangame.co.jp website (no proxy) and log into your account, then go to tera.hangame.co.jp(with proxy) and see if youre logged in. You should be, then click the big START GAME button and wait for it to direct you to a different page, dont press anything and wait for the launcher to load.
When your launcher starts you should be automatically logged into your account, click start game and then a Gameguard update will show up. Close all the proxies from IE you have and cruise control your way into loli moonruneland

For IE a normal HTTP based proxy will do. For the launcher I'd suggest a SOCKS 4, preferably 5 . Programs such as Proxifier and Firewall Proxy are the best choice.
