@onionbro Thanks for answer me. I was worried because of the low reception of the game on Steam at that time. By my research seems that WitE has been more played, do you have any opinion about that? How many time you think that takes to learn how to play?

@Hercatre WitW is a top quality wargame. Buy it now while it's on sale. The Complete Edition (base game and DLC) is a steal. I've played a tutorial and one small map scenario. Amazingly fun and deep wargame and very detailed. I played one smaller scenario 4 times just so that I could understand everything that is going on. Any specific questions?

Someone here already have take a look at Gary Grigsby's War in the West? I'm very excited to buy this but I would be grateful to have some insights on.

@ DeadPool yes that cold waters seems a good game and is on my wishlist just waiting for it to reduce in price or be in a sale, but on release it had a bit of a rocky start but now it is going strong and getting some good reviews

Stellaris is sweet and getting better. The Star Trek New Horizons mod is also awesome!

Baddoggs - yes the problem is very common - I am a member of about a dozen groups - and I find it in all of them - only a very small portion of the members participate - some groups even with thousands of "members" there is no actiivity at all - even in EX4 - which is 10 X our size I find only about 2% of the the people are generating all the activity - it's also why our corrupt governments we all complain about are actually elected by 20% of the possible voters.

Bugger, i was hoping this was an active group.

Guess I am latest FNG, 51 started with board games, miniatures, then computer games to do the above better. Well hopefully better. Cut my teeth at Pacificon or the Pacific Convention of the Wargamers Society at the Dunffey in San Mateo. First trip there was in 1978. Now I am in North Idaho about 90 minutes from the Alberta border and 6 hours from Vancouver and 5 hours from Seattle. I play it all. My name is a give away as I have studied and even worked for game companies in the World War 2 area of games. Currently playing Order of Battle: Pacific the new Marine DLC and loving it. Already preordered Total War: Warhammer

Hello everyone. I just joined the group and as requested here's a small personal profile.

I obviously enjoy strategy games. I'm first and foremost interested in wargames (computer or tabletop), followed by 4x and grand strategy and finally tactical combat games. Other interests include (true) roguelikes, RPG and FPS. I'm also passionate about emulators and old classical games.

I'm 46, married for 16 years and have two daughters. I currently live in Angola, but I'm from Portugal. Hope to enjoy my time here and learn from you all.

With the blood bowl 2 following dwindling down I think its about time to try bringing what remains of the blood bowl community together into one place. I've been getting to know a BRILLIANT piece of software called Discord which essentially creates a free teamspeak server complete with chatrooms and voice comms. It's ideal for creating communities.

I think it could really help the leagues communicate and recruit more players between them.

I just need some dedicated players to help get it off the ground, particularly those who run the existing leagues. I'm also looking to more dedicated members of the community to take up admin roles.

Well I will be buying Colonial Conquest for myself today Mustang and there is something about the Narrator of Civ4 that is familiar - can't quite put my ears on it. My favorite recent game is Order of Battle Pacific.
