Even better : what if viewers watching from Steam could see and participate in the Twitch chat—and vice versa? A shared chat that shows up on-screen would boost interaction massively. Streamers could engage with everyone from one place, and viewers wouldn’t feel isolated just because they’re watching from Steam.

This would help streamers grow, keep viewers engaged longer , and make Steam Broadcast actually competitive as a discovery tool. No extra setup, just a toggle to connect Twitch or YouTube, show the unified chat overlay, and you’re live everywhere.

A small change, but it could make a huge difference.
