I hate to kick the door in with an announcement like this but, it is important! CIG are going to their cloud based servers in 2.6.1 and will be testing to see if any other areas of the world will need extra servers. We HAVE to try and get as many of us dloading and playing as possible over that period. I know the chances of success are slim but, I feel as though it would be at the very least our best chance of getting local servers for this epic game. SO WHO IS WITH ME?? (Charges back out the door with a look of determination and fist held high!).

I've been suffering sick latency issues lately as have my three mates who also play. Don't suppose any of you have had the same? I'm assuming it's because of the new batch used to handle the "make shift" shards (for lack of a better description). Would help if the gal-server was closer to home, say UK or something.

Hello, I have a very keen interest in Star Citizen and am really hoping here is where I will find the help I am in need of. I have yet to even download Star Citizen as I am awaiting confirmation that it even works in SA with the latency and such. Also, If anyone could point me in the right direction of a flight crew type style clan or group of players that roll together on various space missions, I myself am not interested in the actual piloting of ships but more so in the deckhand and FPS based aspects of the game. If anyone can help me out with this information I would greatly appreciate it.

P.S. also looking for suggestions on which package to purchase to gain access to the game in its current state considering I have little to no intention of ever actually piloting any of the ships.

Hey everyone, its awesome what the guy's have been attempting to do... consolidating our power base will ensure we remain a formidable gaming force to contend with.

@ Amantla thanks for the shout out buddy. Capellan Confederation is a squadron based fleet, concentrating on bringing a South African Space Fighting experiene to the international community of Star Citizen. We have our in-unit squadrons and we invite those of you who want to form your squadrons to fly under our proud banner and really bring the hurt. We have a boarding/Marine unit as well as primary fleet and fighter/bomber squadrons.

For the trading/exploring aspect we are also looking to setup a Merchant Navy Core, to support trade and mining capabilities where the fleet will be supporting you, so you can go about your business without fear.
