I'll try to help out here/post any updates on what I'm doing if I'm working on a map in future.

I thought the lag was just because my computer was slow (it's not even an old computer though). Maybe the level editor just runs poorly with a lot of checkpoints? I'll try it out and let you know when I get my new computer.

I have that lag too, when i go to the checkpoint editor mode and there's like 30+ checkpoints the game lags like crazy, don't know what to do. :(

I haven't played Speedrunners in months. I was really let down (and kind of burnt out) after the map-making competition. I started making maps bigger and bigger and the checkpoints made my computer lag like crazy. I'll have new one in the next few days so maybe I could hop back into map making... it has been awhile. Anyways thanks fo the invite!
