yeah its solid and well done - i like the weapons as they shoot tight - BUT - its v ordinary as it stands at the moment,

It depends if we can set up a time and try and get everyone we know to play a specific mod

so what's the verdict, if i were to download any single one of the ones mentioned in the past 5 posts, which would it be?

i found that the hidden is pretty fun to lan, but pretty so-so any other way

i hated hidden, i played it about a year ago and enjoyed it, but i found it very repeatitive

yeah liked hidden. have played RnL a lot its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ top. played a bit of jailbreak but as you say no plrs. I recon Iron fist - the opression is worth looking at - its a coop vs 1 plyr who goes RTS style ( a bit like zombie master i guess) but i think the guns look better cos they have ironsights. all steampunk theme. but no players at all, - if a few of us dload it we could check it out.

heyy try out resistance and liberation its beautiful and a real teamplay experience, i've tried jailbreak and revolt the decimation which look good but no ppl! dead mods are too plenty in the hl world haha. oh a new mod that is a ode to vampire slayer is in alpha its very fun its called coven, very good fun even with 4 ppl. also try the hidden its on the source mod page its real fun and still has a ok base of players

Empires mod always has at least 1 server rammed in the evenings and it's ♥♥♥♥-hot. you guys should check it out.

also i guess you could say you wouldn't really pay for a mod but thats debatable

well as long as it is standalone (as in doesn't require like the Source SDK etc etc) engine i think it would be independent, not a mod

iI dont think its a mod in any sense - the engine is purpose built by the devs, therefore it runs independently from source, even though it will be available through steam at a price.

well it's a mod in the same sense CSS is a mod, it's just based on the engine

yeah - i downloaded sven coop for Hl 1 as it goes - to get me in the mood.
Talking of HL1 mods, i notice loads of ppl are still playing natural selection - anyone tried that before?

I think it may have co-op, since its a remake of a hl game, and all the other versions have co-op. If not i'm sure someone will attempt to mod the mod.

Insurgency and resistance and liberation mods are good if you like realistic tactical shooters - but they are pretty harsh going at first. would be good if a few of us get on together - check them out
