Haku, the in-game tutorial is pretty awesome, really breaks it down. Then do bot matches to practice. If I see you online when I'm in dotes, I'll def play with you.

Welcome JoS :) We sometimes have events where we can play games together, Anyone can host one and have it listed in the 'Events' tab, just message an admin and we'll be happy to do that for you.

I hosted lots of civ5, but needed a break from it. But soon, dota 2 methinks!
