Another question- Is it possible to do a BFB modded server? I just got the game but haven't really played it but would like to. Let me know as I'd also contribute funds for that as well! Thanks again!

Hey there, hope all of you are doing well, I was gone for quite some time but now I'm back and been playing in the L4D2 server quite a bit lately with my kids. As you may know L4D2 had an update today and we can't play on the server, If you could update it, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance and I'd like to start sending some money every month to keep the server going so message me to let me know how to do that. Hope to see some of you in game!

Sweet! I took a full 2 months of terminal leave when I left the AF about 20 years ago. Good that you get some time to get back into civilian life. Will be good to see you around more. :)

oh and good news. i start my terminal leave at the end of january so i will be back home in MA for goor at the beginning of Feb. No more deployments for me.

i have run multiple memory tests and also CPU and GPU tests. Its only this game having the issue. waiting on the download/reinstall to finish....again. Hoping the 3rd times the charm....as for windows 8, it has some good things and bad like any new system.....i will have to try it on my windows 7 install if it doesnt work this time. i dont trust win8 so i kept a dual boot with a 7 in there too....just to be safe

I have a 550 TI and not experiencing any issues. But I refuse to install Win 8, as it is refuse, if you get my meaning. This is why Valve is getting Steam and their games ready for Linux. But I digress. Have you tested your RAM with a bootable CD or USB running MemTest 86+? That is where I'd start. Other than that, I would test with Win 7 if you can and see if Win 7 is any better than Win 8.

so, i want to start getting back into L4D2, but im having some issues. Due to hardware failure i had to install a new Hard drive and video card. so im running full fresh, and though re-installing the game now im not confident that will fix it. Running windows 8 now, with a geforce 550ti. basically the game keeps freezing with the sound looping. anyone run into this issue before and know of a fix? been getting hit up by players recently asking for help and how to do things and its started getting me wanting to play again/

That's kind of interesting, Goo, considering I can't remember the last time I saw you in our servers. I don't really remember you engaging in conversations, epic forts, or massive zombie hunts with the admins or other regular players. I actually forgot that you were in the group since you didn't really communicate with anyone in it, so it isn't much of a loss to us. But we do wish you the best though. Peace.

Well Guys! It's been fun, but the group has started to lack the amazing members that had been in before. I really had fun policing the servers I policed and I enjoyed the laughs and giggles! Keep f**king zombies up! Goo out!

MasterClown, good to set you back. You know that players can play in our servers without actually being a part of the SGCGuns group, right? If he plays quite a bit on our servers and wants to join the group, as long as some of the admins that own the servers sign off on him, we can move the process along at that point. :)

Thx Drakexz! We'll test it out and see if all of the server owners feel that it works properly so that we can replace the old plugin with the new on all servers so that the commands will be uniform across the servers. The more direct link to the post is here:
