So is anyone going to try to rebuild this franchise the right way? 1. Copy Savage{2} Tortured Soul game play mechanics. 2, Copy Savage{2} freemium model, tweaked to be a bit less P2W. 3. Use modern game engine. 4. Host official servers. 5. SUPPORT the product. 6. Profit.

S2 games had a payed ad on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zftGEnvAEF4 You might want to bookmark this if you promote the game for your friends etc. Some nice comment might help a bit aswell.

No, it is now fully released. It was a bit of surprise to everyone as it came out of nowhere ^^ There are still updates happening on a daily basis and there is more content to come.

I've noticed that the non-sniper range weapons seem a lot more dangerous than the original game which seems to make trying to do a fake-out meleee duel to get around a block spammer a lot less possible since a couple crossbow hits from his friends is insta death at this moment.

Other than that, the game seems to play almost as i remember. Summoners are so tiny now! haha.

@Decoi It reminds me a lot of early days of Sav1. Bit rough around the edges with performance, and some aspects need tightening up (melee animations), but still pretty fun to play. I've been pred carn freeswinging like it's 2004!

They started with Sav1 2.0e as the base, so catapult/KONG splash is ridiculous and shock towers don't shoot, immobs bounce, etc. One thng is that with the UE4 netcode, ranged weapons are a LOT more powerful as it is much easier to aim than Sav1.

Overall I think it has a lot of potential, and thankfully they'll be tweaking and rebalancing as it progresses.
