I think it is time to write statement and sketch a road map here:
Due an incident in the family last year, which resolvment still needs my full attention, I am still unable to specify any timelines for 3K, Troy or W3 implementations.

Since the work at PFM was also stopped, there is no further development at those schema.xmls, which I also use.
Maybe no need to tell, that creating table entries for that schema.xml is the most annoying task, that was mostly done by the PFM creators or PFM community.
Indeed I know the successor RPFM, but they use a different schema. OK, their schema is easier to create or maintain, but for using their schema, it needs me to completely rewrite the lib that processes the table data read in the game.
Let me put it in the following words: I prefer to file (not paying!) 50 income tax declarations than rewrite that lib.

If you wanna edit Troy with the Embedded EditSF you can use SaveParser as navigation helper to the nodes.
Use Warhammer2 as game then load the Troy-savegame.
Faction table does not work, so I recommend the Character table as entrance to the nodes.

It looks like that some value are already there but I am def not sure.

Watch out: if you edit values in the edit dialogs (thou some values seems to read properly), you might destroy something.
As a rule: SaveParser writes the values in the same nodes again... so it could work sometimes.

Expect new release with the very basic tables.... when? dunno yet. But I am working on it from time to time.

EDIT:
It looks like PFM is not updated anymore, which puts a spoke in my wheel, because I use its schemata for reading the data in the packs.
There is a successor called "Rusted PackFileManager" but unfort they use their own schema, but which are well readable, but it's still another format. But they have already made it for Troy, so it could be used a groundwork.
And I will def not rewrite the pack reader lib which is using the orig PFM schema. I know how to use the DecodeTool to create new entries for the schemata, but this is def not my favourite pastime.
So, for e.g. faction I have to make a new faction entry for the old-PFM schemata format... as I've said not my favourite task.
Either a fresh old-PFM schemata with Troy entries pops out from the nowhere, or you have to wait till I made it some day.
Sorry.

BTW: with the next release Warhammer 1 will be kicked-out.

Rome II All DLCs DEI. 25 mods .Win10. I wanted to run 40 unit size, I had a few errors with the saveparser. Fixed- it was a ME problem as always.
I had an old redundant Rome II folder on a different connected drive so I couldn't choose Rome II in the game selection list. Deleted.
Next my ini file for saveparser pointed to the correct drive, but had an additional folder called games, so the parser crashed. Fixed ini path to be correct for me.
Opened my game save, which is hidden by default as you said. in C:\Users\Mark\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Rome2\save_games.
I changed to 40 units, saved, tried the game it had reset to 20! Then I watched A total hardcore player on youtube again... I had forgotten to set Army size to max haha , saved it again, tried in game all great so thank you very much. Have a fantastic day- I'm off to run 40 units.

Is there any way to convert a Total War WH2 solo save into a multiplayer save? I want my friend to take up one of the factions in my solo campaign.

I get the Unhandled exception error when I try to run SaveParser, anyone knows how to fix this?

I still prefer playing WH2 over WH3 because of this tool. 😅
(Especially because of the character traits changing randomly with to the way the Path to Glory feature works and CA likely is never gonna fix that as they don't even view it as a bug.)
