I want to begin this annoucement first by saying thank you to everybody who has joined our group recently. In just one month we have already reached 80 group members. Since we have reached this number we have decided that it is a prime time to began hosting tournaments. Below we have drafted our plan for the tournament. It is essential that you give us feedback so that we can make sure this tournmanet is the best it can be!
This tournament will be a survival coop tournament. We are hoping to get ten players to participate in this tournament. Each player player will be assigned a team and be responible for communiating with their teammate and organzing a time to play. Your team assignment will be based on your level. For example, the highest level player will be team with the lowest. While this method may not be perfect, it is the only way to balance out a tournament with such a wide range of levels.
Each round of the tournament all of the teams will play the same map. The team with the lowest score that round will be elimanted. There will be a total of four rounds. Your team has twenty four hours to submit your score for that round. Both players are required to take a screenshot of their scores and submit them. During some matches a moderator may ask to watch you game via steam streaming. The last round (day 4) will be a best of 3 match and there will be a posted time when both teams a required to play. These matches will be watched live and streamed for the whole group.
The main rule is to just not cheat. If we figure out that out have lied about your rank, tampered with creenshots, or used any form of external assitance your team will be elimanate and you will be perm banned from the group.
We are currently unsure as to waht the prize will look like. We have an idea but are unsure if the community would be intrested. The entrance fee will be a huntsman weapon case (found on the csgo market) which is worth $1. All prize money will go to winners and not cut will be taken by any of the tournamnet staff. So that means there are 10 cases/$10 of prize money. Here are the payouts:
1st- $5
2nd- $3
3rd- $2

Welcome to the beginnings of hopefully a growing community of Ryse players. If you haven't figured out already, this group is dedicated to connecting players for online matchmaking. I decided to create this group after waiting for over twenty for an online match and having nothing happen. Please help grow this group by sharing it with your friends.

Each week a member from the group will be chosen as player of the week. This decision will be based on activity, good behavior, etc. While at this point there are no prizes for earning this label, there will be rewards in the future once the group grows. If you have any suggestions as to how this might look please leave a comment. This might be a good way to make you one of the first players of the week. (;

As the community grows, I will accept applications to become a moderator. The primary job of a moderator will be to delete any discussions or comments against forum rules. The specific requirements for this position will be posted at a later date. Group loyalty will be a major factor in choosing a candidate, so becoming an active member now will give you an upper hand against other contenders.

One of my goals when creating this group was to create a community that goes beyond normal matchmaking. Once more people join this group, I want to create multiple tournaments across all of the multiplayer game modes. The first set of tournaments will be free and open to everyone. But if we reach enough popularity, there will be an entry fee and a prize pool for the winners. The details of this will be discussed later. If you have any ideas post them down in the comments below.

Lastly and most obviously, the main focus of this group now is to grow. None of the ideas above will be possible without group growth. While I’ll do my best to spread this on every forum possible, it is up to you to help this group reach its potential. So please spread the word and let’s create something great!
