Possible scam/joke

If I or someone else on your friends list sends a message twice "WTF Dude" with a link DO NOT CLICK IT

Seems to do no harm - virus scanner detected nothing and after deleting it seems to have stopped it (would send the message to everyone on your friends list when you logged off)

Well you CAN'T play RtCW on Steam. Rtcw is still pretty much alive, read my post from earlier. About 50 players in all servers you can find on 1.0 version every night (about 25 base DM and 35 on FUN server) and you can find about 30-40 ppl on ECGN shrub server. You must have new masterlist. If you want to play RtCW more seriously, to compete, go to IRC chat, server QuakeNet channel #rtcw.wars, every night ppl search for avi players to play 6v6's on OSP. Community is still better than ET one.

Playing Doom 1,2 multiplayer with zandronum is much easier than rtcw. (-_-);

I'm writing this to inform you about how can you play RtCW now. Sadly master server has gone down some time ago so you can't play this game no longer if you have it on Steam. However, there is new masterserver fix. Follow the instructions to install and play RtCW 1.4: http://www.crossfire.nu/tutorials/198/rtcw-14-pack-2012 There are still some servers active, and every night ECGN server has 30+ people. There are also players who are playing 1.0, and over day there are a few servers that always have lots of players. Download RtCW 1.0 pack here: http://reflex.bestmail.ws/Games/RtCW/Wolfpack%201.0/ . When you install it, you need to replace WolfMP exe with 1.0 one from here: http://reflex.bestmail.ws/Games/RtCW/BinaryFix/ so that your ingame browser may work.

yes there are still active servers. You will need to download the patch that allows you to play multiplayer because they have shut down the master server. find it at s4ndmod.com
