just added group from the post on the ubisoft forums, quick question for seeing peoples scores etc in game is a steam friend or group link enough or is all on uplay friend lists? very much a beginner on guitar and bought my first bass yesterday so viewing my scores should do nothing but boost your confidence :)

I was but closed everything and re-opend and it seemed to work again.

I'm nowhere going near 2 hand tapping so if its an issue it will be long fixed before I even look at the video! Can you connect to UPlay? I keep getting servers not available message.

can somebody with PC version have a look at the 401 two hand tapping lesson and tell me if the adio goes out of sync with the video even though my guitar still sounds fine and on cue....cheers.

Well, I'm liking it even better than the first Rocksmith (I think I should uninstall it now). I find that recognitions is much better and I'm noticing no lag at all. The only problem is that I'm running Windows 8.1 and it takes about 2 minutes to load. That also happened with RS1, but it didn't take so long.

Okay folks, pleae dont take the following as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or slateing the game, I'm not I have been asked about issues I'm having and answering honestly, I play on pc and your experience may be hugely different to mine. these are what I've noticed so far with rs1 dlc installed but havent yet brought the on disc over (no job just now so bit skint)

video lag comes and goes, game keeps resetting the microphone input to 17 so you cant hear yourself, tuner is a ♥♥♥♥♥......the tune before each song is gone unless you play non stop play, then it picks random songs for whatever time you set and unless you hand pick the tunings, because of all the new tunings your still tuning at the strat of each song ( I've been told you can skip it but havnt seen the option at the start) some double stops are not aligned properly on the screen (this was pointed out to me by Sh-elx over on rs forum) so I've been trying to quickly strum two notes which are actually a double stop but dont line up....tuner sucks....a lot of the time in rhythm or bass you really struggle to hear yourself play, especially if you dont alt tab out and check the mic setting in control panel.

sometimes the notes seem too far away and overall the notes are smaller on screen than they were on RS1 so not as easy to read and seems to run a whole load faster than we're used to, tuner sucks........session mode is great but picking scales is hard for inexperienced players who dont know the shape or root of the scale as you dont see a preview before going into the session.............did I mention the tuner
dont get me wrong ther's nothing "hugely wrong" but it's an annoyance as I'm pretty sure some of these bugs would have been obvious to the guys who got early releases and pointed them out, hopefully the next patches are going to go a bit further ( I have been reliably informed a patch has taken place) obviosly pc is a many faced demon due to all the different configurations there is.

Overall I do like the game even if it does make me feel like I'm a complete noob again at times but its like a new pair of jeans, take a bit of wearing in.

dont let me scaremonger any of you my main gripes have probably stemmed from the delays to europw and price hikes for uk customer (found my dummy eventually... really spat it out there lol) it's still a hell of a game and will only get better if the feedback gets as much attention as it did for RS1.

what issues are you having with RS14 Shihdo?

yes tried using a capo, it sucks, fret number/chords etc still come up as if the capo isnt there. confusing as wotsits.
I've played nearly 14 hours and getting frustrated, rs2012 made me feel like I could play guitar, rs 2014 is just frustrating me.

I think it's just the pre-orders. The game page states I own it, but not downloaded yet. One page did state I have one friend that plays rocksmith 2014.
