Why Volvo made this items restricted, there's so many items I want to my sets like the Intangible Ascot for Spy and the Einstein for Medic, maybe for next Halloween Volvo will remove this restriction

How about no? They're there for a reason. So the game doesn't lose its charme and so that not every idiot who doesn't actually care for the game can be a hoovy bird all year around.

We should, in fact, remove SOME halloween restrictions (Like the medic's space suit) and add halloween restrictions to other hats, such as a majority of the edgy cosmetics.

Some items make sense to be restricted, such as the bird heads and alien sets but others don't look out of place at all and it's simply far too restrictive. My favourite cosmetic for my favourite class, the Crispy Golden Locks for Pyro, is holiday restricted. Pyro's meant to often display girlish traits, why must this be restricted!? The only way to get around this currently is to use servers with halloween mode enabled and use eternaween, which only works for a measly 2 hours, and although it is dirt cheap it still makes me uncomfortable having to pay something every time I want to use a cosmetic I've already bought.

I absolutely love the Curse-a-nature scout set, its always been my favorite set in the whole game, not to mention all of the other halloween items. Sometimes i love them more than the current cosmetics. Please valve remove the restriction!!

Valve, here's how you'd make more money: let all halloween items not be restricted, make more halloween hats, people would buy them, and use them, and we would be happy, you'd be a better company, i mean, seriously, how hard is it to make something not halloween only? I mean, there are hats, they look like any other hat: quoth, guano, haunted hat etc. and why don't they listen to us? It's simmple, proffitable and make the game more popular. For real though, if they made these hats only OBTAINABLE during halloween/full moon but WEARABLE year round, that would be so much better! Especially for the people that dropped 7.50 on items like the Hundkoph.

it would be cool if they remove the plutinidome from the halloween restriction. just because it`s a brain in a jar dat doesnt mean it`s gotta be restricted

I think some items are appropriate for Halloween, or Haloween enabled servers, such as the zombie items, and zombie forms of the pet items. But then there are things like the Faux Manchu. ITS A COOL BEARD THAT GOES WITH ALOT OF ASIAN THEMED HATS!!!

Anyone here like the bird heads? Chicken kiev, medimedes, etc. I just love to go out as a pootis bird, and create a party. Sometimes I manage to get 5 or more other chicken kiev hooves to join me. But I can't do that all the time. A lot of the best cosmetics are holiday restricted, and that's starting to really annoy me.

id like to have dedicated slots to make halloween themed sets and keep them equipped aside of my normal ones (A, B, C, D). Then when the full moon comes, halloween sets (A1, B1, C1, D1) will automatically replace the normal sets.

I TOTALLY agree on removin' Halloween Restrictions. A Rather Festive Tree doesn't have ANY holiday restriction albeit it being a christmas hat. VALVe added restrictions maybe because Halloween stuff is out of placed when not on the occasion, but what about the Festive Tree? I hope they remove the restrictions 'coz I always wanted to wear my Halloween sets ( I have all the sets from the 2011 Halloween Update) anywhere, anytime.

Well there IS the Eternaween thing, but I still sorta agree with this. Or, make the cooler sets/items (Clown Spy, Fly Engineer, etc.) all-year instead of all of them.

I agree with Festive Luna. While I think it'd be fun to parade around in giant fleshy eyeballs and dressing as scarecrows and blowflys, I don't think it would be anymore fun if we could do it all the time. I wouldn't want to see eyes everywhere. Besides, we have a setting for putting it on for non-halloween.

I love that everone here is supporting this long-overdue idea, but the main reason they haven't removed restrictions is that it would ruin the magic of scream fortress and all of its wonderful events. and some servers even remove the restrictions for you. like i said, i like the cause, but i don't think it'll happen. (this is only my opinion, please don't harass me for it.)
