I think that the Half-Life series are, since they pretty much invented the current way of storytelling and worldbuilding in video games plus the use of physics. Even HL: Alyx seems ahead of its time with its advanced mechanics and new features. But I want to hear your opinion. What game or game series do you consider the most inventive?

Well personally I think that PvP is better when it involves teamwork and cooperation, like in PvE. It's also much better when you're playing with friends or making friends.
