He might have talked about it before. The Coles have been pretty active on their Discord and their Twitch channel since releasing Hero-U and Summer Daze.

The VGA fan remake was nice where you had a chance to fight the pizza elemental. I wonder what Corey Cole thinks about this.

Hi everyone was looking for help regarding importing a character from QFG1, I bought it on Steam and tried to locate glory1.sav file, I tried changing a: to h: for my external no luck I dont know where dosbox or steam send it if I select c: any help much appreciated.

Not sure why Actvision has chosen to withhold releasing QFG here, but you can get the whole series at gog.com , DRM-free even.

why isn't the QFG anthology on Steam? I see Space Quest and King's Quest even some Leisure Suit Larry. No police quest either? Where's the love of old sierra?

I would love to get all the Quest for Glory games on Steam. I like having all my games in one place, which is the main reason I haven't got it from GOG. I remember having hours of fun with QFG 4 when I was younger. I never finished the game because of the glitches and bugs, but I was very close! I'm gonna have to go back to it some day and get the patches, then maybe I will be able to finish it! :P

Been a fan since I was little, and I bought it on GOG anyways because of the bugs it fixes in Quest for Glory 5. I am excited :D Even though I've been playing Quest for Glory just now (The EGA version, which I didn't give much attention)

Also, I'm glad to have joined the group. Found it randomly :D

Yeah I don't know. The only things I can think of would be problems licensing Dragon Fire, since it was developed in that period where Sierra was getting absorbed into many different companies. As far as I'm aware, we've only seen Return to Krondor go up on GOG but no Mask of Eternity or QFG5 from the same era. Who knows on that end. My other thought is that it might just be sheer unpopularity. Even amongst people I know that played adventure games, they hadn't even heard of Quest for Glory. It's possible that Activision just sees no money in a brand that they view as being unknown.

I've never really had any problems with QFG4 after applying the patches that are available nowadays. That is saying a lot, because QFG4, heh, well we all know how buggy that is without patching it. I've been able to complete QFG5, but I have ran into several show stopping bugs in it as well near the very end on multiple occasions. As far as I'm aware, there aren't any patches for it that fix those issues.

Weird... King's quest, Space Quest, Police Quest are both on Steam and GOG and Gabriel Knight is on GOG, too. So why not QFG or, say, Laura Bow? Maybe it's really because of the technical issues... 1,2 and 3 run well in DOSBOX, 4 can be still a bit buggy even after the official and Rising Sun patches, but it's much better than it was before - I can run talkie version in DOSBOX now with no problem - but maybe it's the fifith game that is troubling. I was never able to finish it because of the animation near the end of the game. And yeah, I've uninstalled the current version of Quicktime and installed the version that is provided with game.

I believe it is currently owned by Activision unfortunately. Vivendi merged with them in 2007.

I only wonder why it's impossible to release QFG series nowadays... if the problem lies withing intellectual/autorship rights or unsolved technical problems... Does anyone know who owns the rights? Sierra->Vivendi Universal?

Yeah I played it when it came out. Those guys did a pretty good job integrating both the point-and-click and parser style systems.
