My only problem is that reskin addons don't work, I can't figure out what the problem is. I try to replace Alyx and Barney models - no reaction. Reskins perfectly work with HL2 and MMOD but here - I just can't understand why

A project called Overcharged Redux has started development over on Moddb.

I hope they push through a version of the mod and don't stall out.

"the mod is actually fun" I agree, as a dude who enjoys alpha and beta testing i do have a lot of fun making long lists of bugs, broken features, with various suggestions to fix the bugs and improve the performances

Too bad the modder does not fix any bug as he is only interested in stealing other mods assets, pack them together in what he calls a "mod" to slap his own malware to retrieve people's Steam IDs

While I do think the HL Youtuber bros are giving Overcharged a hard time to generate clicks, the less energy you give it, the better imo.

There's no such thing as bad publicity, and them playing your mod publicly, even if it's out of some misplaced sense of authority to determine good from bad, it's still going to encourage people to download the mod for themselves.

However what they'll find is that the mod is actually fun and the criticisms are overblown.

I hope you'll put the download for Overcharged back up on ModDB, hopefully with a compatibility update for the new 20th anniversary branch of HL2.

Yeah same, I'm glad they're fixing this up.

Just saw the latest patched update, and the video previewing all the new content as well as the moddb page.

Very impressed with the devs for sticking with it and polishing their mod.

its not that type of mod that could be approved. this one is created for fun and ♥♥♥♥, its not serious like MMOD

hey im a user that is playing overcharged but when i play the game crashes whenever i go to a point of the map so i was wondering if you can fix that? -pan gaming

excuse me. i have a question. will overcharge come out with a version that is meant for computer potatoes. my computer is very old. it even has trouble running black mesa. good thing they came out with potato settings. i couldn't even launch the first chapter of the game overcharge. I'm just wondering if they will add potato-like settings for old computers.

The good thing is - disable all post processing effects in advanced options - FX tab and change mapadd_overcharged to mapadd_lite. (BEFORE loading map, not in middle of game)

Check minimal requirements above, some people reported this too, but when i check they say that they using Intel HD graphics. We updated many shaders and dynamic lighting so basically it may won't load complete due of limits on integrated cards. 2GB video is a must.
