Yes, I mean 100% DRM-free not necessarily distributed by HumbleWidget or any other specific distribution method. Though I certainly don't have a problem with DRM-free distribution methods like HumbleWidget, Desura, or GOG.com! Thanks again for making this DRM-free!

So, to clarify so I can understand this better, you meant *any* kind of DRM-free version (not necessarily distributed by HumbleWidget or any other specific distribution method)? Like you want to be able to play it without it being tied to any distribution service/store?

If yes, no problem here. I always intended it as 100% DRM-free.

BTW, the Steam version is actually DRM-free as well, you can play it offline and there are no hidden protections/etc.

I, and speaking on behalf of what I'm sure is many of people, promise not to complain and agree to minor delays/annoyances for the DRM-free version.
I do suggest announcing this on the official website since like I said DRM-free is a precondition for buying the game for lots of people.

Overall, if you promise to not complain and agree to some minor delays/annoyances due to not using the Steam version I can continue the DRM-free non Steam builds upload infinitely.

I could also add other Stories (later) if you desire.

Hmmm, haven't thought about it :) Well, if there is a need there is no problem. I can continue uploading it to HumbleWidget infinitely.

A few notes/restrictions:
* Expansions: I'm not sure how expansions are handled in HumbleWidget system, so it might be a bit more complex, but that's purely technicalities. Really, if you want it and are willing to go through a more complex installation hassle, etc I have no problem including these.
* Time: There might be some difference when the build is available where. So, please, don't say "the game was updated 2 days ago in Steam and here not yet", I have no control over this and can't give guarantees when exactly updates will be available (be we are talking here about difference in days, not weeks).
* Achievements: obviously you won't have any Achievements system in the non Steam version :)

In addition to Steam, will a DRM-free version be available once the final version is released? This is an important precursor for many people to buy the game. Thanks!
