Thanks for the feedback guys. There is an AFK kicker on all servers. It'll boot people after 3 minutes of inactivity. As for the class limits, we could enable them again on server #2. It already has no crits and no spread on it. Please let us know if you think this would be a good solution.

Please add some afk kick. My pet peeve is for a full server, with 1 team handicapped for an entire round (or 3) due to incondierate afks. Join to play, spec if you have to answer the phone etc.

Hello! Moderator of Payload Incorporated, I am here to make an appeal to bring the class limiters now!

First I am telling you that since Valve change quickplay, there is no connecting to community servers unless specified! And in those specifications is an option for class limits!

Second I will tell you is that only 3-6% of the ENTIRE peoplus who play team fortress two is them that use the options to connect to community servers, no crits, class limits and other!

Now I am not telling you to stop with the thing and do what I am wanting, but I am giving you some reasonable arguments to fight against! Please considerate my opinion and if you think I am truthful, please bring back the limitations of the class!

A cetain epic telefrag just broke the server. Half people lagging, half crashing out and the other half (math fail) were fine.

Had Red Spy trapped in room with Blu buildings blocking him in. 1 Blu Engi on the inside, 1 Blu Engi on the outside. Red Spy takes down a Blu Engi, right as suddenly in the midst of this chaos, a Blu Spy uses the teleporter and telefrags the Red Spy.

We can't turn class limits back on. Valve have changed the way their system works and we'd be penalised if we re-enabled them.

Sorry, but until you bring back class limits, your server is pretty much dead. Playing against a whole team of engineers is never fun, nor is it fun to play with a team of snipers and spies.

Yeah I think they've added filters and they default to Official servers only :\

I think the reason our servers aren't regularly full lately is due to Steam directing the QP traffic to Official servers only, leaving the Communities heavily reliant on their members.

Might want to remove class limits from the servers, it disables quickplay now for some stupid reason.

Custom textures and sounds are restricted with sv_pure 1 to prevent people from changing them to gain an unfair advantage.

Is there any possibility of changing the sv_pure to allow for custom textures (I'm assuming that's the solution)? I've noticed that solid colour textures aren't allowed in plinc servers, while other servers allow them

It's your ISP sorry. There's nothing we can do. Either call them and complain, change to a decent ISP, or wait it out.
#3 is with a different host.
I just tested through a friend's connection and Telecom seem to be routing traffic to #1 via Los Angeles.

I am with Telecom, but this has only started recently.. Is there any way to change the routing location? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, it doesn't explain why I still get 60 on plinc #3

Are you two both with Telecom NZ? They're (along with Telstra and Optus) notoriously bad at peering. They're probably routing you through Singapore or something. :(

I've been getting 200 ping on plinc 1, which is unusual since I usually get 60 ish on 1. I still get 60 on plinc 3, but 1 is not so great. Anyone know why?
