Hello everyone, I joined this group back in the 'Race a Day' days and still watch X's videos all the time. I was never very active but when I did check the group seemed kind of barren and dead, until I just noticed you guys are mainly on Skype, rather than here on Steam.

So I'd love to join you guys! Also because at the moment I don't have a lot of friends to play with on the PC or in general actually ^^;

Hey Scotch. We do most of our talking on Skype since it's the easiest thing to use to interact with each other. Just leave your skype name here and someone will add you to the group chat in skype :D.

As for starting your own channel (if it's a gaming channel), you're going to need three important things: A decent mic, a way to capture game footage, and a video editing software for editing/rendering your videos. Also, fiddling around with your channel layout to look organized is also a good idea. But once you get all the prep done with, just record away and be yourself. Experiment around. Most importantly, have fun doing it.

Guessing this is pretty much dead now right?

Yeah, not many people use the steam group even though it was the first thing that was made to connect Playunity together xD.

Chat kinda dried up here didn't it... Then again most of us now use skype chat.

I already removed myself from the old group :P

Could I request that we do away with the old group. and by that i mean, everyone in this group remove yourself from X-lings and make The Playunity Project your main group.

Sweet just tried it out with fraps and everythings fine cheers Zeno. I'll get back to catching up today then :P

@Zenofire thanks I'll try that. But I have to wonder if fraps won't give me low FPS like it does with everything else.

@shadowcarn You have to play it full screen, and have 'Triple Buffering' on in Config -> Video -> FIlers

@Zenofire I have fraps but it won't let me record Znes as it isn't classed as a game.

@shadowcarn: Yeah, I found that to be a problem. I actually switched emulators to Snes9x, but that doesn't have a record feature :( I suggest Frapps or Camtasia. If they are out of your price range I know at least a few of our members know how to aquire them :3

I need some help guys. I've downgraded to version 1.42 of ZNes to avoid all the graphics glitches for Kirby... but now I have no way to dump the video files once I've recorded them cuz that feature isn't available in this version. Any help greatly appreciated.
