I've moved a few months back, and where I am now the ping (for most of the servers I would play a lot in the past) is pretty horrendous so I'm rarely on.

suggestion re: team size auto balance

hey all- love the new addition, it's excellent. what i don't like, though, is that team balancing is in effect 100% of the time, day or night.

please disable this feature during non-peak hours when the server is quiet and there are more casual players on that would not mind the uneven teams. before ~5ish/6ish PM EST and after ~1ish/2ish AM EST in my opinion.

thank you for keeping the server in tip-top shape and i hope my suggestion is considered

Thank you DevilDoc for taking the time to list out some of the better custom maps playable in our servers. I know that you have been having trouble getting players to vote yes in favor of playing these new maps but hopefully players will be more willing to play some of these maps after they get used to them.

I think a major problem with callvoting some of the custom maps is their names. I don't know about you but unless I check the list for wdw3team1, I more than likely will not remember the map name. There may be casual players who may like the map with the waterfall but can't remember the name. Lint, if possible I think we should rename the custom maps just for the callvote mechanism. I know the maps are the intellectual property of their designers, but maybe the original mapname could be automatically generated in chat when the server cycles to a new map. It is far easier to remember "Overkill" or "Waterfall" than the wifi encryption type mapnames we currently have. :)
