you will have to buy them so look on outpost for cheap ones and keep it
They will for now, that is a given, but once supply runs out and we have waited long enough for their to be new players in the TF2 market they will start to become profitable.
This is by no means a quick source of cash, it's a long-term investment that will pay off really well if everyone in the group co-operates. It's simple economic theory :)
Probably a good idea. I'm away at exams the next while, but if we can buy out the cheaper rainblowers we should be fine.
The supply is already gradually dying down and many people are reluctant to sell for less than one key, now all we need to do is hang on to your rainblowers for several months to a year and try to ensure there aren't very many cheap ones on the maret.
After that prices will go up steeply due to a lack of supply. And then we shall make our move >:)
As Doni said, it is not a quick-rich scheme. Raising the price will take time and collaboration on the part of everyone in this group.
Then at a time in the future, which we all agree upon, we SLOWLY start to reintroduce our rainblowers to the market - say one at a time per trader- with slowly being the key word, as if we do it too quickly then prices will plummet quickly as well.
As they're so common raising the price excessively in one -go would work best, that way when we start to lower prices and undercut each other (which will inevitably happen) the price will not fall too excessively.
Prices of common items are more likely to fall than they are to rise, so making an allowance for the fall in prices will be necessary.
While most of them are unlikely to sell at this price, if we can get the prices going upwards and add momentum to that we are still likely to make a decent profit of several keys per Strange Rainblower.
