I wanted to toss out a thought/whatever on the strategy guide offered by steam. I really DON'T Recommend this guide. I honestly expected something considerably more in depth (I guess my thought was something of the quality of a Final Fantasy or Sim City guide) that would cover material that isn't just in the guide that comes with the CD. For instance... what is the best way to orient a farm, or place it, or whatever? The guide seems to be web based (not a pdf) and reads only like a rehash of the installation/play guide. Yes... it does have a walk through of the levels, but for someone like who plays the sandbox, it's absolutely useless. This was a complete and TOTAL waste of my money, let alone the NINE days it took for steam to figure out what their problem was (Servers too busy, can't install) and send me a link. Do yourself a favor... save the money and look online for forum information

Was a bit worried that the game was gonna fail when I played the demo, but after playing the full version when it was released, I realized how wrong I was.

Yeah its got plenty of stuff from Tropico 3, but Kalypso said from the beginning that it is supposed to have been built on everything from tropico 3. If its not broken don't fix it I suppose. Plus there still is plenty of new stuff and good humor. :)

Weird bug, never had this happen: I went an entire campaign mission with no immigrants. That is, unless I paid for specialists. Started the next mission, and no immigrants again. Going to try restarting the game and see if it keeps up.
