as long as you can actually play the mode itself without having to worry about random disconnects it's good enough

u can use mega bouble gums in offline think its an glicht u must connect to online reconect connect reconnect then i have use mega gums

We need offline multiplayer.

If you get a connection interrupted during a solo offline game after pausing it , this can be fixed by pausing the game with an Xbox controller , then resume as normal with your KBM . I have had connection interrupted in steam offline mode while the ethernet cable was detatched from my pc lol .

Round 48 Der eisendrach connection interrupted I slide around the place like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ballerina and get hit about 30 times and when the connection interrupted ends this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and there shouldn't need to be online for an unranked solo match

@Moon it's the easiest way of avoiding disappointment, especially since 3arc aren't exactly known for fixing stuff that actually needs it. Still, maybe they'll start listening to people more in future now that they've finally added this.

And leveling up is kind of pointless I agree, especially if you have everything unlocked offline by default.

Thanks, Kenshiro... I probably should have tested a bit more before posting that. It does indeed remove all of the customisations for the weapons and standard gobblegum packs when you go offline, but you can customise them again with everything you've unlocked so far. No XP isn't really an issue if you just rank up online first, and who gives a damn about the hacked leaderboards anyway.

So yes, the offline mode is pretty decent after all.

The mega gobblegum are not availible offline, all the guns are max lvl and attatchements are all availible for them.

This way it keeps offline mode from the leaderboards giving the player option of both. I would have liked XP in offline just as an extra but the offline mode is good enough. Also be careful the resume game button is right next to restart level , and i did not see any option to confirm it by yes / no therefore 1 press of restart level and you are back to round 1 .

I notice when pausing solo the animations will stop working for the zombies until a margwa is spawned / killed . ( this happened before update too )

Before anyone gets drunk on victory, there's a bubble I have to burst... You cannot rank up while offline, which makes sense I guess... But you also cannot use any custom weapons; everything is reset to rank 1. This is probably the same for gobblegum, but I haven't tested it yet.

I suspected this would be the case... It's not as if 3arc was likely to give us a GOOD offline mode, was it?

It has happened!! With the Feb. 9th patch we have received Offline play in Black ops 3 Zombies!

I have had similair experiences when pausing the game and coming bacjk to zombies with no animations for walking / running , also if pausing while in beast mode i have come back to no hintstrings working .

The main problem is the fact you could play anything between 1 and 1000 rounds and the possibility of disconnect is always there , and to set up a map like shadows of evil to get disconnected pretty much immediately after you take the last step to set up your strategy is quite frustrating .

If it is down to leaderboards i persionally do not mind if the offline solo play is not added or synced to the leaderboards , and the player has to play solo online for the leaderboard entries . I just want to play the game in solo regardless of leaderboards . Regarding cheating offline this game is protected by VAC so any offline modes could be monitored for cheating using VAC , and the online play using activisions anticheat .

It is pretty frustrating when you pause the game to go to the toilet or something, only to come back a minute later and find the game completely out of sync. And find zombies floating or the image of the zombie completely detached from their body. Which means you can get killed by invisible zombies because they are completely out of sync. when that happens it's like playing an alpha version which is unacceptable for a triple-A title.

This version of zombies is the most stable and consistent i have played , not sure what bugs you are concerned about but is possible also some performance issues with the game ?

With every new version of the game the DC's get worse than in the previous version.

I seldom get DC's in Words at War zombies.
Sometimes in BO1.
Often in BO2; some days this game is unplayable.
Can't say about BO3 yet, needs more testing.
