hi everyone want to join and meet fellow rpgs. I love oblivion for the quests main and side. Skyim for mods and gameplay

I like skyrim in different aspects but Oblivion did have great RPG elements like weapon/armor repair and beautiful cities and buildings

Skyrim wasn't a bad game, but Oblivion was just better in almost every way. It aged well

Just buy the game when it is on sale for a good price and if you current rig cannot run it you will be able to in the future when you upgrade. Simple.

@Ehgooberman, oblivion is set like 200 years before skyrim, as the Oblivion Crisis is what causes the start of the Forth Era

I think it would be cool if someone made a mod where the Stormcloaks appear at random throughout Cyrodiil as if they're invading Cyrodiil out of revenge for the invasion of Skyrim and the signing of the White Gold Concordat.

To be fair, Mannimarco was able to waltz into a barren, usually out-of-the-way cave east of Bruma, so its a no brainer that he was unnoticed. The only thing that really tricked off the Mages guild was the necromancers unusual activity in targeting the guild members, which Mannimarco was controlling. That halarious oversight with the nirnroot is quite interesting though.

I began playing oblivion again on pc because the Xbox pretty much became the family entertainment medium; and I noticed something odd this time around. In Leyawiin there is a sprig of nirnroot near the waterway, and yet apparently no one in the mages guild ever realized this rare and powerful herb was present. For their missing such a priceless artifact, it's no wonder Mannimarco was able to waltz back into Cyrodiil unnoticed!

I want to post all the OMODs I have on a web site, but there are two problems. First, I don't know where to post them. Secondly, its 3.48GB. That's a giantic file to move through the Internet.

My Level 2 mage is lost in a sand storm in the desert of Elswyr. It took 10 mintues of checking the map and heading the wrong way (towards Valenwood!) in order to reach Dune. There is also no fast travel in my game, so in order for you to move from one town to the next, you'll have to foot it.

One thing I liked more about Oblivion than Skyrim was that there were at least three different enviroments in Cyrodiil that I found. There was the central areas that were mostly lush jungle turned forest because of Tiber Septim a.k.a. Talos, a snowy north filled with pine trees like Skyrim, and a swampy south that made you feel like you were in either Black Marsh or Elswery when you were really in Cyrodiil. I do love both games however each for different reasons.

Does anyone know a good resource for oblivion mods, not just a big database but something with maybe some standard reccomrndations to put together like texture packs and general improvements for the game. Thanks and all

how do you install texture packs

hey can somebody help me install mods? i just got oblivion and im not sure how to do it...ive done it on skyrim and fallout new vegas but its been a while and theres no mod manager

Since the new upgrades has anyone been getting comments notices from members posting on groups? I used to get them now it's hard or impossible to tell.

I need some help. I downloaded 2 mods from Nexus Oblivion and used the manager to put them in the game, the mods were a Madoka Magica armor on the top sides of the arena and all the hair mods in one. I installed them and put the files on the data folder but when I play there's nothing where it should be the crests.
