It´s was not Nelson in 1801 who steel the Danish Navy in the First Battle for Copenhagen. It was first in 1807 in the Second Battle for Copenhagen after a heavy bombardement from land in sereval days by the ground forces under command of gen. Wellington they steel the Danish Navy. And it was not Nelson who stole it because he died in his finest hour at the Battle at Trafalger oct.21 1805.

Minor historic correction: The danes tried very hard to remain neutral, but after the destruction of the french fleet at the Nile Denmark was suddently the second largest naval power in the world. This meant Denmark became an objective to Napoleon and England alike as our navy was a threat. At first the danes tried not to tackle the fleet (no ropes on the masts etc) and as this would take at least 2 months to do it was hoped the British was convinced Denmark wasn't a threat. A British fleet was dispatched to ensure the danish navy didn't fall into french hands and the danesplaced the navy in a defensive line outside Copenhagen. This was then attacked by Horiato Nelson who won and brought the fleet to England. A final twist of irony: The danes realising they had no large forests left, nor any navy, proceeded to plant oaks for the restoration of the navy. About 10 years ago, those mightty oaks very finally of a size that can be used to build ships-of-the-line. We'll be back!!!

Denmark was neutral, and was traiting whit the frence and england. the english king wanted denmark to join the caolition but we refused. the british admiral lord horatio Nielson was sent to bomb Cobenhagen, and declared war against denmark. Napolen became ally whit denmark after that.
