first, a bank account was made for n00bpowered.com, then the domains were bought (2 of them). From that point in time we needed a server, and a webhost, this has turned out terrible and heres how..

first, after 4 years with aowc i go into aowc, sign up for a 40 slot rotation server. well, rather than adding this to a cart, it checks you out right after selecting this, so the money was transfered from the bank to aowc for price x. So then the community needs webspace, so we go in and select webhosting, select premium hosting, unlimited bandwidth for fast map dowloads etc, well, then it procedes to check out, and rather than for price y, it charges you for x+y so now you have 1 server and a webhosting package for the low price of 2 servers and 1 webhost, so the orders had to be cancelled out, mind you the cash is transfered out of paypal and hasnt cleared on their end to where it comes back yet. so then we sign up for just the webhosting everything else gone, just get the page up, the files for hs map DL's and get ready to add a rotation server to it... It didnt work that way at all..

when we went in to install the site, we had no access to changing file permissions on our own domain, the site is installed, but unusable, we are effectivly locked out from it due the file permissions ordeal..

so now, this is where we are, we have to wait for all that cash to come back into he account, which could take 10 days - 2 months mind you, so that we can put it back out for what we need..

the site is UP< but not the servers, high speed downloads are being set up as of right now. This is goign to happen, but it is delayed, and we know the deal is right.

we need a good host for the web and for the server, we are STILL at stage one with all this, even worse actually, now the cash isnt there to work with..

well, the hosting was set up with aowc.com.they finally got around to it almost 48 hours after they accepted payment for it. but it did not go smoothe at all.

after the site was activated, there was a problem with passwords, so i had to call aowc back to get that resolved.

and after that there was a situation where the ftp would not allow files to be uploaded, spent hours on the phone with them, it is still this way after all this..

we cant change file permissions on out own page.

this has been a nightmare..

over the course of the day i have maybe NOT been on the phone with aowc for maybe 30 minutes.. so i would rather delay that stay with this host.

this is really a shame, i have had dealings with these guys off and on for quite a while personally, we are splitting paths today forever.

This is going to delay the whole thing.. which has me very very aggravated.. i have put out over 300$ and have to wait for all the cash to comeback into the communities bank account through paypal, which will be time consuming.

i apologise for the delay, it is beyong my control but i'm not settling for that type of business for us. I am looking for business worth repeating, and that seems to be a hard thing to find these days.
