I am not aware of anything that would cause a false positive SMAC ban and there are very few SMAC bans logged with most of them being for low hour vac-banned accounts.

Were you playing a map for too long? Sometimes if you join after it's been on a map all the time overnight you need to change map.
I can try and restart it too when I get a chance (no one else playing) as it's been up for a while.
