Hi all,

I've been informed that some of the winners of Bardsley's giveaways have yet to receive their prize. Sorry to hear that you guys haven't gotten it yet even though it has already been more than 7 days.

As far as I know, Bards have been pretty busy for the past months with life so please try to understand.

Please do hang in there for a bit and I will try to get in touch with Bards and find out what is up.

The Banhammer Appears...

Hello everyone, how are things? It seems that the very nature of this great group and its badass members is being taken advantage of...and that warrants judicious use of the banhammer.

When I first started this group, I assumed I would have been posting pretty much all of the giveaways. Some people thank you when you give them a game, some don't, and I was fine if I didn't receive thanks from everyone. But it soon became clear that members of this group were beginning to post giveaways for their fellow members, and that the number of members doing this was growing fast. This is a surprising behavior for me, as there are more generous people out there than I tend to realize, but it is a behavior that needs to be cultivated.

Which brings us to the banhammer. People need to give thanks and gratitude for any game won through this group. The fact that so many members have posted giveaways is amazing, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let some people ruin that. So, if a winner of a giveaway does not give thanks through STEAM or EMAIL--not steamgifts.com comments--for a game won through this group within 3 days, they will be permabanned.

Feel free to sound off below if you find anything wrong with that. And I plan on starting a discussion thread where posters can leave names for people to get banned, is that a good idea?

Another Direction For Giveaways

Hey everyone, so after posting a giveaway everyday for two weeks, I thought about giving away games in other ways. Having talked with several officers, giveaways will now also occur in group chats and also twitch.tv streams. Giveaways will occur in the normal way that everyone knows and loves at least once a week, but I am going to try out these other approaches to see how it goes. Let me know what you think. Cheers,

Bundle Giveaway Rules

From time to time, bundles will be the prize avaliable on an MvukeUnity giveaway, be it The Best Of British Indie Bundle or something like a Humble Indie Bundle. Do not enter these giveaways if you own all or most of the games that comprise these bundles. The giveaway will just be re-rolled and you will be warned not to do it again. One of the new things that MvukeUnity is now doing is video game streams on Twitch.tv:

Giveaways will also occur randomly in the streams as well, through key ninjas, so look for that as well.

SinisterHardware is one of the officers heading this up, but the channel is open for anyone in this group to stream through. Just ask myself or one of the officers for the stream key if you are at all interested in streaming, although members who have proven to be trustworthy will receive it. And it seems that SinisterHardware is the man to talk to in terms of the tech of streaming as well, so there's that too.

A Squad Of Officers Assembles

Several more members have been made into officers in an effort to make this community more dynamic and alive. You'll begin to see things like game streams on Twitch.tv, game tournaments and game nights, and scheduled group chats (and rewards for participating in them) among other things.

And these things could not be done without the help of these new officers: codnik, JeREnk, Monkey Tommo, Phanir, SinisterHardwatch, and pureillusionist. I hope everyone shows these guys a warm response and I'm excited about what these guys can do. Cheers

Gaming Tournament Possibility.

I would like to get a gaming tournament going. This post is pretty much just to see if anyone would be interested in something like this, to know if its worthwhile to organize.

There will be game prizes (details later). Also I would like to know which game you think we should host this on. Some suggestions so far are:

Killing Floor
Blur
PayDay: The Heist
Counter Strike
Left 4 Dead 2 or 1

So let me know if your interested and what game you want for this. Any suggested games are welcome to. I have not set a date on this yet, I am waiting on participation numbers first.

An Officer Arrives

Hello everyone, I am just posting this to let everyone know that I have promoted a fellow MvukeUnity member to officer to help out with things in the group. pureillusionist is the new officer, and she will be helping out with getting more people involved in group chats to make sure there arent any "leachers" as it was put, which I fully support. She also already gave away a game in a discussion, the first member to do so. Thank you very much pureillussionist, your support for the group is really cool.

Also, I would also like to give a shout out and thank d3rk/JeREnK ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶ for posting up an impressive giveway for Deus Ex: Human Revolution moments after winning an MvukeUnity giveaway. I just though it was really cool, especially since I wasn't expecting it.
