You can also try starting your game in a later era (such as Classical). This will start you each out with a couple settlers and several units. It makes the first month of turns much more interesting.

So, i'm new to CIV 5 and due to time restraints I want to PBEM (perhaps 1 turn per 2 days), however the guys I play with cannot stand the thought of a game taking a year +. So, I've been looking for mods to speed up the gameplay but I've only been able to find game pace modifiers for longer play styles.

Basically, what I want is a mod to make all production take no more than a few turns, increase resource income, and increase movement. Anything else that may help would be appreciated. I guess my aim is to have a well rounded game in about 30-60 turns per player.
