Also, I do believe the both of you require the same mods for it to work.
The 'custom advanced setup' in this circumstance is just 'one mod' for GMR. But...you could do some other things regarding hotseat-games in common with it, like loading special setups with several mods aso. So far we tested it, it mostly breaks any attempt for multiplayer or needs too much steps to be conveniant.
