whast happens exactly when a players turn is skipped?
Hi guys a clarifying question: When a players turn is skipped due to the timer, does his cities still produce production, gold, science etc. but no units are moved? or is his turn completely skipped ie. no culture, gold etc added to his total?

The AI continues his moves, but has the tendency to change all the production. move warriors and negotiate on their behalf. Essentially they play the turn.

Thanks for your reply Ashley. So there is no in-game difference between vacation mode and being skipped due to turn timer running out?

That's right, in both cases (being skipped and activating Vacation mode) are accomplished by having the AI play your turn for you in Civ V.
