Hey guys. I recommend you adding Police Quest: SWAT 2 and SWAT 3 - top-tier tactical shooters. The third one is the best in it's genre i think. Also Max Payne 2, Thief 3 and Hitman: Contracts are a well deserved classics for some people - underrated in some ways.

I think it was one man project so it's still an impressive game. Many Fallout clones got quirks i dislike, so you either deal with them or dont bother. I did finished Underrail despite everything, so this game at least has some value in my book.

I've noticed that a lot of players complain about that and weren't satisfied with the things you mention and the final area in particular. However, these things weren't the issue to me and I do not even consider them flaws, as it's my kind of game and I greatly enjoyed it, especially the infamous Deep Caverns.

Underrail was very infuriating and just wasted my time in end game areas, i thought about just giving up. End boss is a joke too, some random gen ♥♥♥♥♥♥ genetic riddle i didnt bother to solve and all this pathos made him look undefeatable and then i just effortlessly fried his ass with incindiary ammo in a few turns.

Not to mention all the hassle and tedium with crafting and checking various merchants. Backtracking and more backtracking. After 100 hours i really just had no strength for expansion, only spent like a few hours there and quit.

Damn shame. Cool game but way too grindy and repetitive. Really mixed feelings about it.

I've finally managed to get some days off and free time. Playing Underrail: Expedition at the moment. I'd say it's very dark ad atmospheric. This is my kind of game.

Black & White from Lionheart and Rebels: Prison Escape. Nowhere to be found except retail. The last game won't even work beyond the first level. So sad.

Brigand's engine is DarkBasic whatever it is. Morrowind's engine is netimmerse.

SS2 is one of the best games I've ever played. Completed. It's time to play Bloodlines.

Elex looks worthwhile. I might play it someday. I haven't played many Piranha's games though. I'm only familiar with Gothic and Gothic II: Gold Edition (the only game I've completed).

Elex isn't bad, but not perfect either. Atrocious combat system, but pretty enjoyable quests and dialogues. Nice world, at least for first half of playthrough, then it gets repetitive with grinding and looting the same ♥♥♥♥. But you can see a lot of effort went into the game, considering they have small team, little budget and not much time.

I'd give it 7\10 because if Piranha continues this way, they might actually start making good games again.

So far it's better than i expected from PB. I'll tell you more when\if i complete it.

Btw, what do you think of Elex? Has anybody already tried it out?

The Marked One will probably be the best to ask about SS games. I've yet to complete them. I played Deus Ex multiple times. But with Deus Ex\SS type of game i would go for hard or hardest difficulty. This type of games is very rewarding when it comes to difficulty, instead of just being a torture. So don't limit yourself :)
