Hey, folks. I looked at the older announcements and one of them said 'Announcements every Saturday.' I decided to defy that law, (Strike me now), and make a post on 'FRIDAY'. But, while I was scrounging the sites of the Internet. I found a website that is dedicated to ALL Alien Swarm maps and custom campaigns. Some of these campaigns are actually really well-done and amazing.

It's about 250MB, and pretty interesting. Based on Half-Life 2's City 17. Five levels long. Pretty simple, but hard as all hell on 'Hard' and up. Worth taking a look.

It's been around for a few weeks, but worth mentioning here for any that may have missed it.

Know of any other good campaigns? Post them in the comments (preferably with a download link), and a brief description.

At this time this is just a status club. But in time we're thinking having some rule based competitions and tournies would go down well with the AS faithful. This, if you stick with it, can also connect you with other users looking to play a campaign or a downloaded mission as finding players who want to get in a game in the quieter hours can prove difficult - especially if you have something specific you want to do.

If you have any friends who get a swift kick out of Alien Swarm point them our way. Comment if you have any ideas on what you'd like this group to be more about.
