A little late on posting this but if you are looking into creating a map with custom items from tconfig mod look into this small mod which will allow access to all the items in terraria, including custom items from other tconfig mods!

theHoopster has kindly offered his time to help out anyone in the process of building a map or anyone looking for testers for their maps.

Skills for testing: I've played numerous custom games and have a general idea of what people like.
Skills for building: Tell me what you want and I'll do my best.
Preference of maps: If I have friends to play with, I love pvp. I like the adventure with the occasional jumping puzzle thrown in. Parkour itself I find to be really annoying.
As a tester, I will give the best feedback I can in regards to pros, cons, and anything you want.
Also, I may be getting FRAPS soon to possibly record a play through.

Of course this could be used to great effect to further theme your future maps if you so desire.

The item list still needs updating however but this is a good start ^^
