Gonna move to Bera in the world transfer event coming up on the 19th.

Only problem is that I'm still leader of Vidya and of the alliance.

I dissolved the alliance, so the 5 guilds are seperate now. Just need to transfer leadership of Vidya to someone so I can leave so I can transfer worlds.

If anyone wants to help with this, message me. If I don't get anyone by the 18th, then Chow of /msg/ is gonna help me.

Next patch introduces Reboot server and class changes

On December 2, a special server will be open, various classes get balaenced, a Battle Analysis System is added, Zero can be made, and holiday events and such.

The special server, called Reboot, is the big part of the update.

On the Reboot server, the following changes are made for just this server (all other servers are unaffected):
-monsters are stronger and grant more EXP/Meso and drop equips relevant to what class you are
-Item enhancement is simplified
-less dependancy of the Cash Shop (useful items from Cash Shop can be bought with mesos instead)
-can't trade with other players (no economy)

I`ll be checking out the new server along with /msg/, if anyone cares to join us.

Need to transfer the leader for Vidya and alliance

In order for me to do the upcoming World Leap event on Nov 12, I need to be guildless. I want to transfer leadership of Vidya to someone in the group. Also, I need one of the leaders of the other 4 guilds (doesn't matter who) online so I can also transfer leadership of the alliance as well, since I need to be completly guildless to do the world transfer.

So I need either:

2 people: someone from Vidya and one of the other leaders of the 4 other guilds in the alliance

OR

Someone who is both: a member of Vidya and leader of one of the other 4 guilds (since we all did the smart thing and had our sub characters join each others guilds)

If I can't get the leadership roles transfered by Nov 12, then I will be forced to DISSOLVE the alliance (meaning it will no longer exisit) and disband Vidya (deleting it since the leader is leaving, so everyone in Vidya will be guildless. The other 4 guilds will still be around, but they will need to remake the alliance)

I know you guys don't give a flying fuck about MapleStory or this group anymore, but I would like to try to keep this alliance exisiting, whether it's active or not. Sentimental value and all that. So if anyone here would like to help me with this, please let me know on here (or message me if you have me on your friend list) before Nov 12.

Also, if by chance you feel like playing MapleStory again, I'll be transfering to Windia, where most of /msg/ of /vg/ is planning to transfer to. You can either use this event to move your Kradia characters to a server that isn't Scania and join me on Windia, or make a new character on Windia.

BTW, whoever helps me with this gets Group Player of the Week, all weeks.

World Leap Event on Nov 12 till 17

In case anyone here cares, there will be a "World Leap" event happening on Nov 12. This event allows you to move to a different world that isn't Scania. Read the patch notes to see what's getting transfered and what's not.

I may consider doing this and moving to Windia. If so, I'll need to transfer the leadership of Vidya (and the alliance) to someone before I can do the world leap. If anyone's willing, let me know please.

Name Change event coming Oct 15

If you haven't logged in since January 1, 2013, your name will get changed to a bunch of numbers to help free up character names on Oct 15.

If you log in before Oct 15, your name will be left alone.

Just letting anyone who cares know that you MIGHT get an unwanted name change.

TL:DR, Bellocan and Nova join Mardia/Kradia/Yellonde/Chaos and Renegades joins Demethos/Galicia/El Nido/Zenith/Arcania

Log in anytime between June 9 - 16 and get a cute medal based on the World that a character of your choice (LV 30+) was created on. KRADIA PRIDE :V

Also, bunch of events and shit. Me, Var, TMoGenius, and Azcrus have been on checking out these events.

Also also, to all leaders of the guilds in our alliance, due to this world merge, guild names may get renamed due to guilds sharing the same name. If you log in from June 11 onward (until December 31 2015), you can rename the guild.

Also also also, for all thoes LV 200 dudes, world merge means LV 200 Statues in Job Instrustor houses will be reset. GO GET A SPOT AND MAKE US SOMEWHAT PROUD, MAYBE

Latest update introduces an event for old players

Night Walker gets revamped, Mushroom Castle is now LV 60+, and there's an event that lets you enjoy high school in an alternate universe.

The noteworthy event here, though, is "Back to the Old Maple", where by accepting a quest, you'll be teleported to pre-Big Bang Victoria Island where you can do quests and fight stronger versions of various old bosses. You can collect Old Maple Coins by doing said quests, which can be exchanges for various old equips, a damage skin, and a chair.

I'll be checking this out if anyone wants to come along.
