THRONES OF BRITANNIA released with macOS vs Linux multiplayer

A Total War Saga: THRONES OF BRITANNIA is now available on macOS and Linux!

THRONES OF BRITANNIA is a standalone Total War game that challenges you to build and defend a kingdom of Anglo-Saxons, Gaelic clans, Welsh tribes or Viking settlers.

The game includes macOS vs Linux cross-platform multiplayer on Steam. If you'd like us to arrange a weekly session, let us know your timezone, and what times and days work best for you.

Weekly events for Dawn of War III and Tomb Raider

By popular demand, two new events have been added to the events calendar. Our weekly schedule now looks like this:

Company of Heroes 2 (Mac & Linux) Wednesdays — Beat Feral!
Dawn of War III (Mac & Linux) Thursdays
Tomb Raider (Linux) Saturdays

Make sure you check out the events tab for exact timing in your timezone. You'll also find instructions on how to join each event.

Remember, multiplayer is a team effort, so make sure you invite friends to these events, shout about them on Steam, Twitter and elsewhere, and generally keep them rolling. :)

Heads up: Two weeks of Feral-less multiplayer events

Hello multiplayer moguls. I just wanted to let you know that Sam, our representative on the field, won't be available for two weeks of scheduled events in July. These are:

Tuesday 11th July at 1PM BST — Dawn of War III (Mac/Linux)
Wednesday 12th July at 11AM BST — Company of Heroes 2 (Mac/Linux)
Tuesday 24th July at 1PM BST — Dawn of War III (Mac/Linux)
Wednesday 26th July at 11AM BST — Company of Heroes 2 (Mac/Linux)

Continue the events in his absence and Commander Sam will return for a fresh set of battles!

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III coming with macOS vs Linux multiplayer!

On June 8, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III launches on macOS and Linux. And there's more good news: the game will feature cross-platform multiplayer between macOS and Linux from Day One.

In Dawn of War III, warring factions of Space Marines, Orks and Eldar engage in colossal battles for control of a mysterious weapon, which will determine the fate of all three.

SHOGUN 2 coming to Linux, followed by Linux vs macOS multiplayer

On May 23, both Total War: SHOGUN 2 and Fall of the Samurai will be released for Linux!

Total War: SHOGUN 2 is a masterful combination of real-time tactics and turn-based strategy set against the dramatic backdrop of 16th century Japan.

Fall of the Samurai is the standalone sequel to Total War: SHOGUN 2, and moves the action on to the 19th century, where Japan plunges into the modern world with a spectacular clash of medieval and mechanized weaponry.

Online multiplayer will be Linux vs Linux upon launch. Keep an eagle eye out for a future patch enabling Linux vs macOS multiplayer.

WARHAMMER is coming to Mac, followed by Mac vs Linux multiplayer

On April 18, Total War: WARHAMMER launches for Mac!

Fight for control of the Old World in a spellbinding game of colossal battles, sophisticated tactics, and relentless conquest.

Online multiplayer will be Mac vs Mac upon launch. We are working on a patch that will enable Mac vs Linux in the near future, so prepare to unleash your monsters and smite your enemies!

1000 members! Let's play Company of Heroes 2 to celebrate

The Mac & Linux multiplayer Steam Group has secured 1000 members! Now we challenge you to a faceoff on the deadly battlefields of Company of Heroes 2.

On Wednesday 11 January at 6.30PM GMT / 10.30AM PDT, a formidable band of Feral devs will meet you in the multiplayer lobby. You need to own the game here on Steam, for Mac or Linux, and you need to be armed to the teeth.

Dawn of War II released for Mac & Linux, weekly events to begin!

The Imperium of Man’s darkest hour looms with Warhammer® 40,000®: Dawn of War II®, Chaos Rising and Retribution, all released today for Mac and Linux.

The multiplayer is Mac vs Mac, Linux vs Linux, and Mac vs Linux. To find friends for all three of these grim dark games, check out the dedicated threads under the Discussions tab.

Feral's own Blood Raven, Matt, will be heading up Dawn of War II multiplayer battles every Monday at 1PM UK time, starting on the 3rd of October. We'll see you there. The galaxy is vast and our enemies implacable.
