WOAH, it worked keyboard has fixed my problem, he gets plyers of the month...

No just L4D2, I'm using onboard integrated graphics, called ATI 3000, and yes I've tried game cache, nothing seems to work...

did you mess with your vid. card app. ?? (reset it to fac. default).
What card is it ? ( the more info, the better)
Is your nvidia gtx+ fan jammed in crap so it overhaeted ?
(gtx+ is like the uber-overclocked version of a vid. with a bigger cooling that still doesnt help on its longevity )
Is it just in l4d2 ? if so, did you verify the integrity of the game cache ?

But it does seem like ur card got issues.. if you can : try it in another pc to confirm..
just take notes that some older mod can do this if the gameinfo.txt does not point to wrong number ( steamappid 215 /tollsappid 211/etc.).
I hope it help.. (if indeed its the card and your really low on cash, you could always try to "bake it" in oven to melt the soldening - i did that with a ati 4870x2.. it worked but toxic fumes and all. had to have acces to a oven outside- try an get a heatgun its better..i dont think ill ever try that again..)

The graphics in L4D2 are messed up pretty damn bad, go to my profile and check my screenshots, if anyone's got any idea what is wrong let me know plz, keyboard thinks it might be vid card problem, but I just dont know...

Finnaly, a group of hardcore players who got balls of steel ! We gotta try headshot mutation on expert some night (and no, i checked their is no realism expert headshot mutation.. ) Already did Nomercy, and survived ; but i always wanted to try again..
