Left 4 dead 1 is a classic in my book, but Left 4 Dead 2? badass.

ok so you gusy are boycotting a level thats part of the l4d DLC that people will more than liley playout or just forget about by the time nov.17th comes around?..and u say they too money away from part 2 by making this level?..how?..who knows this was probably a level intented for the first left 4 dead that didnt make the cut..and they probably saw all the player crteated levels and decided to post something actually worth playing.i kno when part 2 comes out i wont be looking back at the ifrst one for a long time and im pretty sure nobody else will either but crash course will just be that awesome little "goodbye" level till l4d2 comes out

I don't know about anyone else but I'm utterly offended that the L4D2 boycotters got to go to see the superior sequel but we're forced to wait until Crash Course is unceremoniously dropped on us like a nuclear turd with no warning. For shame Valve. For SHAAAAAME.

r.elm it is as serious as a video game can get. This is the stuff which matters most to us. Why is Crash Course coming out before L4D2? Because it's holding L4D2 back! The game designers should be working on the sequel, not padding an outdated game with content no one will ever use.

I'm still trying to figure out how Valve can have the nerve to introduce a new mechanic like back-tracking into an outdated game. As far as I'm aware there's no promise of back-tracking in L4D2. At best we have to rely on promises that L4D content will work in L4D2, and if that's the case does that mean we have to grovel for crumbs of retracing our steps gameplay experiences care of Crash Course? It's disgusting. Back-tracking should be in L4D2. Post "signed" if you agree with what I'm saying.
