Hello beloved 63e members & fellow community friends.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of RobertDeBruce, known by his real name Callum.

Callum was with his parents when he went into cardiac arrest from an undiagnosed heart condition. He fell into unconsciousness from which he never woke up and unfortunately passed away sometime last week.

We have lost one of our greats, a man of endless puns, a soft soul and limitless patience. Willing to accept everyone as they came, reaching for understanding and calm in all situations. He was the peaceful beacon, who knew only kindness. Robert was a 63e saint, preaching for understanding and innocent humour in all scenarios. Dedicated to the care of all newer and overlooked members, a soft soul who sought the well-being of all our members. His tireless dedication was an inspiration, if only we were as kind as Robert what a better world would we live in. A total of 5 years made Robert a foundation to this regiments culture.

We have lost one of the finest men to walk this earth. As a Christian man Robert/Callum, has returned to his final resting place in heaven.

We'll never forget the endless love towards his dog, his highland walks. travels, cooking escapades & passions.

We will be hosting a Robert memorial event this Sunday, October 8, 2023 2:00 PM to celebrate and remember his life. Everyone who knew Robert is welcome. In addition we will be opening up a thread channel, were we encourage you to share your stories about him and the positive impact he's had upon your life. During the main event people will be encouraged to share thier stories, if you feel uncomfortable speaking send your messages to KindaJoeK to read on your behalf.

From the 63e we say, you will be missed but not forgotten. His kindness and understanding was a lesson to us all.
