For this week I will have a server up for Project CARS and next week if I don't figure out why I can't make R3E Server work peoperly I will run a Race07 or rF1 week. If anyone wants to run a host with our group I can set you up with a Faction Forum and make you an Official status here in the group. Just contact me so I can set you upwith a Faction forum

Forums are now open except for the Faction Forums. Please check them out and let me know of any mistakes or something to add. I still will be working on the forums up now periodically.

Good News: Project CARS – Patch 2.0 – Release Notes

Not so good: Most likely looking at a few weeks before it will be released.

The new server setup is looking better for races.. it seems to discourage wreckers, We do have some drivers who are clean but do not have a wheel, they are avoidable for the most part. Server is setup Qualifying 30Min, Warmup 10Min, Race 5 to 10 laps, depending on which track/.
Damage set to Performance, Fuel is Real, Penelties on.

We didn't get a server up yesterday as we were working on a problem with the computer we use for Skyrim.. Att the end had to change a video card after 6 hours to get the PC back up// The BMW server will be up today :)

Today at around 11pmGMT I will be setting up the server for the BMW. All is welcome to join. I want to check a few things and find any bugs if any.

Friday and Saturday there will be no race @ IGN SIM Racing. The server will not be avaiable but if you play ARMA3 and N1Z1 , we are setting up the server for these two games. More will be posted here and we will probaably have a group starting up for that. I will announce here once the servers are set. Monocard will be admin of them groups :)

Good to hear that night racing works for griefers but i also found that forcing cockpit cam, manual gears and turning off assists goes a long way to discourage wreckers from joining for long. When I host rooms with those settings it tends to filter out the simple masses. Since most serious drivers use a wheel, are comfortable with cockpit cam and can control the car better without assists, it draws the better quality drivers in to stay.

We will still be scouting for more members to invite on the public server and as soon as the member count is big enough we will go private. I know it's tough out there with the wreckers but please be patient until we have enough members to go private.

I have been trying different techniques on discouraging the game wreckers and I have notice some of them today on the Oceania server don't like night time. I had set up a server that has a few minutes of night and they left the server leaving us with a clean race :)

Here is what I can do for Teams David. I can create forums for anyone who wants to be a team owner. Members may form and operate a race team with up to 5 drivers each. As for the series I am working on it. I will have a forum up this weekend for that. Stuff?

This weeks car class has been changed to Formula "C" Class cars, After 2 days the LMP1 Class server was dead quiet. Yesterday night I changed the Cars and the server was populated again :)

So is the DS working ? Do you have a powerfull bandwidth server with the DS parked on it ?
If so you must be using the -searchDS "IGN Race xxxx" yesm ? its working ?

opens up lots for IGN to have multiple host/admins for the defrent time zones .. meaning with the -searchDS "IGNxxxx" and the password any of the league admins could host (not at the same time) im thinking euro events then US time zone events ..
just thinking out loud .. if we wanted to host a series in my late night time zone ectt...

Sever had a major crash yesterday and I notice many pilots stuck in the lobby. One fix for pilots stuck in lobby is to re-join and wait a bit. Seems that lag in joining the event ends up freezing. Happens more often when there are more pilots on the server. As for the Server crash, this was a first and I really do not know why at this time. I will investigate if it happens again.

Yes I saw DTM Nice !

So i got on the server finialy today ..it was almost full! 30 players ..!

But i sufferd from the greyed out DRIVE button untill quall ended so had no chance to tune the car ..then when it went to race i was locked to bumpercam ..( Ive reported this happining before ). . I saw some lag in the brieff moments i was in ! . and my game froze about 5 sec's aftet the green ...I think my ping must be high on the server ..?? but it was almost full to .. Ive had good luck with 20 drivers .. Try again tomarrow !

DTM Week..

Yes we need to get on the forums and request equall classes ! i thread was already started on day 2 after realease ! I wish we could add waht cars we wanted in a MP session rathat then having them grouped like they are ..

I havent messed with them yest ,as soon as i say a 0:21;00 -ya a 21 sec lap at one of the 1:45.00 p/lap avrage tracks I desided to wait lol
