The setup.exe from Github tries to download a file from the IM website which is currently down, resulting in this error message:


There is a steam-idle.exe though which works for me if you give it an app id as parameter, e.g. "steam-idle.exe 10" would idle for cards in CS.

Also anything in the install folder is not archived because it's forbidden by the IM website:

I really doubt IM is picked up by VAC. But I haven't played TF2 since a long time, so I'm not 100% sure. Still, chances are that something or someone else got you VAC banned.
