Steam and Idle Master need to be running under the same user context. Usually when this happens it means you're launching Steam as an administrator (since this is a proposed fix for some older games that won't work unless you do this). Either launch Steam as your regular user, or go into Idle Master's settings and select "Ignore Steam client status".

For Demythrius: This message means exactly what it says - Idle Master cannot reach your badge page. Can you open it in your browser? Sometimes Steam's servers suck and will redirect you back to your profile instead of your badges page. This is on Steam's end and Idle Master will simply keep retrying until it can reach your badges page.

The API servers are currently offline due to unscheduled maintenance from our upstream provider. This could be the cause for the issue if you have your idling priority set to "most valuable first".

There is currently a bug with the summer sale monster game where Idle Master will actually include the available card drops for that event in your total but won't actually idle them. My guess is that you have 14 drops "available" in the monster game and that's why you're seeing this.

The system will check every 15 minutes until it detects that only 1 card drop remains, then it will start checking every 5 minutes. As a result, Idle Master should move to the next game automatically within 5 minutes of your last card dropping.

You can also press the link that says the number of card drops remaining to manually check.

If you're in-game and the game has card drops remaining, Idle Master is doing it's job and you'll get the cards eventually. The new policy basically adds two hours of idling to the front end of what the developers set, so some games will have ridiculous idle times. For example, the game Awesomenauts had a 9 hour idle time before, now it will be about 11.

Since Valve introduced their refund policy, many developers have gone in and tweaked the amount of time it takes for each card to drop. In a lot of cases, it will now take over 2 hours (the refund window) to drop all of the available cards for a game, so each drop can take 30-45 minutes in some cases, sometimes even more.

If Steam shows your playtime increment and that you have available card drops, you'll get them eventually.

Make sure you're running the latest version of Idle Master (0.9). You can get this version from www.SteamIdleMaster.com

Running games doesn't increase the XP from the game collector badge, so this suggestion doesn't really make sense.

"Badge page didn't load" means exactly that. It means that Idle Master requested your badge page, but instead was redirected to either an error page or back to your Steam profile. This used to result in the program crashing, now it will handle the situation and should eventually move forward once Steam's servers start playing nicely.

Expect a few hiccups on Valve's end due to the sales - hopefully Idle Master will now be able to keep up.

Version 0.9 handles this a little bit differently than 0.8. First off, the app (368020) is hard coded into the app to always be ignored. Secondly, 0.9 won't crash idle master when it encounters an app like this - it will simply fail to load the header image, and will say you're in "App 368020" which you can then hit next to move on to the next game.

This way, if another badge's card drops is dependent on something other than idling, users can easily skip that app or add it to the blacklist easily by selecting "Game" -> "Blacklist Current Game".
