This is due to a change Valve made in the badge page layout during yesterday's maintenance window. I'll see if I can't release a small patch to the Python version to accommodate this.

Can you try copying everything from this directory

Into a folder, then copy idle-to-ready.py into the same folder? I just tested on a fresh Ubuntu Virtualbox after installing the pre-reqs and it worked as intended.

Do you have the libsteam_api64.so file in the same directory as the .py scripts you're running?

It's hard to help solve an issue without any sort of indication that there is an error. Idle Master (and the idle-to-ready.py script) have pretty extensive console logging so if something isn't working correctly it should give some kind of indication.

Especially since the main start.py script is working correctly, it just doesn't make any sense that idle-to-ready wouldn't also either a) work correctly or b) give an error message.

It means that Idle Master will attempt to idle games regardless of whether or not it detects that Steam is also running. This option was added for people who regularly launch Steam as an administrator but Idle Master as a regular user.

For those of you having issues with Idle Master not accepting Steam Guard codes: does the formatting on the sign in page look all fucked up? If you open Internet Explorer, add Steam to your compatibility view settings, and try to log in: does it work?

This is usually caused by a change Steam made recently that breaks functionality with older versions of Internet Explorer - the browser that Idle Master uses in the backend to gather your data. I've informed them of this issue but their response is basically "We don't care enough to fix it."

To account for this, the newest version of Idle Master will attempt to add a value to your registry to force the built-in browser to *NOT* use compatibility mode (and will instead use "Edge" mode). Try running Idle Master as an admin, as your local user may not have access to this registry hive for some reason.

If that still doesn't work, you can enter your authentication data manually into the application by choosing File -> Settings and clicking on the lock icon in the lower left of that screen.

If you've already restarted your computer and the issue persists - there's nothing Idle Master could be doing that would cause this, and it's likely just a bug on Steam's servers if you're the only one able to see this.

This is a known issue and will be fixed in the next release.

My knowledge of OSX is honestly pretty limited so I'm really not a great resource for laying out steps on getting it working. In fact, someone else compiled the OSX version that's in the repository. I know enough to step through the issues with Python and that's about it, sorry.

Running the Python version on OSX needs a little tweaking based on your configuration. Essentially, the script is detecting that you are on OSX and is telling the program to launch the steam-idle program in this folder:

So to fix this, you can either copy steam-idle from that folder into your Idle Master launch directory (recommended) or if you have problems with that you can alter the script so that it uses steam-idle.py instead. If you'd like to go this route, you can change this code which starts on line 79:
