The program only idles games which have cards available. If all drops have been allocated to you already (which is 50% of 1 single badge level because that is how Valve made it) then idlemaster skips the game to focus on what games still have cards waiting.

Some games also do not have any cards at all. These games are skipped as if they had 0 remaining.

Simply put there's no reason for the program to ever trigger a VAC ban because it doesn't interact with the game itself in any way shape or form. It just sends a number to steam claiming that number (the game ID) is running.

This can happen legitimately through various glitches in the steam system, so they cannot reasonably ban it for danger of a false positive, on top of which idlemaster itself gives you no advantage in-game anyway, which further drives it to a point of "Valve has other things they can use their coders on than trying to hammer down on this".

99%. We've never had someone get banned before now, but we're not taking responsibility if Valve changes their policy and starts the banning thing. Complain to them in that instance, not us.

My guess is that whatever your bulk of time occurred (eg on a weekend) has fallen off the radar and thus the time removed from your fortnightly count went down. There's never been a case of Idlemaster messing with time in such a manner as you describe.

Idlemaster itself cannot give you cards. What the program does is scan what cards Valve/Steam is willing to give you and artifically tells Steam that you've played the games enough to receive the drops.

So with that in mind, Valve only gives you 50% of a card set (rounded up if the number is odd). The idea here is to "encourage" use of the market system where you buy what cards you want and sell ones you don't, with Valve taking a 15% cut both ways, although they "generously" (their words) allow us to trade with each other as well for those who'd prefer to skip the taxes,

Technically it is not. There's nothing which explicitly allows it either. It's in that grey area which means that Valve ignores it since it benefits them, but they refuse to explicitly permit because SOME jerkwad will use the wording as an excuse to do something illegal.

What would be the purpose? Once the cards are at 0 (so to use your example, 3 have dropped (as that is CSGO's free drop count)) then idle master cannot give you any more cards unless you go and buy the game again on a new account.
