Okay, humor me for this one: Did you download the one for windows? Because that last message sounds suspiciously like you're trying to use the linux or mac one.

Are...you opening the right program? There's two idlemaster exe files, one which is the intended one to use, the other supports it and can't run alone.

You got those from random selection from steam, idle master had nothing to do with that. Once all drops are obtained and it goes "idling complete" there's nothing more idle master can do.

Can't. That is how steam interacts with idle master.

Means you need to buy more games. Idlemaster is out of "fuel". Game cards only drop 50% of 1 badge then stop forever. Your "problem" is that you've taken your car and are going "IT'S NOT WORKING EVEN ALTHOUGH I HAVE NO PETROL IN IT".

Solution is get more games then run idlemaster.

I have to give you kudos for figuring it out without having someone spell it out for you. There's often people who come on here and get more and more angry when we're like "You've got no drops remaining. The program isn't defective, you just really have nothing left. No getting mad at us won't fix it either, calm down."

The files of idlemaster are rather fiddly and prone to breaking at the best of times. I'd advise against using a virtual machine, since it just dumps a crapload of blocks onto the files, which seem to be set to follow exactly 1 possible path and spit out errors if stopped.

If anyone knows how to fix the virtual machine, ignore this. But otherwise you may need to just install it outside of the Virtual.

Unlock cards, run idlemaster. It will do the rest, assuming you actually paid up and unlocked the cards.

It's people posting up games. It's basically a forum. You look around and filter out the bad hacks from the legit cases and grab keys. And with the voting system, the bad hacks tend to fall off the listings soon enough anyway.

You'll have to erase the defective file(s) causing this, that's why reinstall isn't fixing it. They'll be in the appdata "Idlemaster" folder, which you need to erase (I just kill the whole folder, easier than filtering).

It should be under C/Users/yourname/appdata/local. Appdata is a hidden folder so you'll need that revealed.

So that actually wasn't the problem, the problem was that I was running it as admin... Thanks anyway.
