It varies from game-to-game. A rule of thumb (the most common time) is usually 2 hours for the first card, then every 40 minutes thereafter until done.

That said don't be discouraged if 2 hours rolls around with no change or freak out if a card arrives early. There's variation in time, so be sure to take the time-frame with a pinch of salt. As two personal examples, I spent 9 hours getting 3 cards from "Holy potatoes a weapon shop" and have spent only 84 minutes to get all 3 Hotline Miami cards.

Well unless you unlock the card(s) by microtransactions. Then Idlemaster can farm out the card for you without you needing to play the game.

Not worse than giving away free cards although. Imagine how badly the price of every F2P card would tank if you just got a bunch for free? People would make a ton of throwaway accounts to farm them, they'd flood the market and then you have a case where you can't even give the cards away because nobody wants it.

1. You don't have to fear a ban if you play vac-protected games while this runs, but you only sit in the menu?
2. Some time ago IM glitched and it wasn't working but even when it wasn't running it didn't let me open games normally. I deleted the IM and now every game works as intended. Do I still don't have to fear the ban and can play vac games when this is uninstalled?

1) Correct, you only need fear if you join a VAC server. So even playing single player or on a VAC-disabled server will be fine.
2) VAC can't scan your program registry and everything which has ever been on your computer, so in that scenario you'll be fine.

Although from what I can see of it, your issue is that you have practically no games at all. You need games with cards or idlemaster can't help you.

It means the idle is complete. Cards aren't infinite. You have to actually buy more games to get more idles. Check your badge list, if it doesn't say "X card drops remaining" (X being the number) then you have none left.

If it actually DOES, make and share a screenshot and we'll work on troubleshooting from there.

Pfft. It's pretty epic even if your idlemaster IS working.
