Officially Steam has no stance on it. That said, it falls into a loophole which Valve is both aware of and has chosen to not close. The gist of it is "It's legal but we're not going to say so because if we explicitly say this then someone will exploit it and be a jackass about it".

It's their default stance to practically anything they're not outright banning and is the closest thing we'll get to a thumbs up. And means if someone tries to make a version of idlemaster which hacks their servers or something they can ban that guy without affecting the rest of us.

Just keep clicking "Next game" every few minutes. That usally gets things happening.

Long story short: You've run out of cards to gain from the idlemaster program. Steam/Valve give you only half (50%) of 1 single badge level for free. The rest you're expected to buy or trade for.
In short your idlemaster "Car" is out of fuel. You want it to get you more cards? Buy or obtain (via giveaways) more card-giving games.

To pre-empt a few followups I often get:
"Can I use <Free to play game, usually TF2> for cards?": Yes but you'll need to pay them about $20 USD to get 1 free card. Not cost effective but a nice freebie if you would spend that cash anyway.
"How do I get more games?": Check the storefront for cheap deals, you can easily get games 50c or less. Or if you're unable/unwilling to pay, join one of the dozens of giveaway groups, who will host giveaways or link to giveaways (depending on the group)
"Will turning the cards into gems/trading the cards mean it will work after they're gone?" Nope. Once your counter hits 0 that's the end.

Yes this is a copy-pasted reply. This question is just that common.

As far as all past cases have shown, no it will not trigger one.

CAN it? Yes. Anything can trigger one if Valve wanted it to. They could make Microsoft word trigger a VAC ban. But Idlemaster has no confirmed cases of a VAC ban (A few people have CLAIMED it has, but these same people have about 20 people on their profile calling them filthy aim-botters (amongst other cuss words) and somehow achieved every single CS:GO achievement at the same second...so their reports have been treated as "completely legitimate and not at all like someone who is refusing to take responsibility for their own actions").

As a fair warning, between using Idlemaster and Playing CS:GO you should reboot Steam itself. If you do not, you'll get a VAC error and get kicked from the game. This is not a ban of any sort, but it's a pain in the ass which won't resolve until you close down Steam (completely, use task manager if you need to) to refresh the flag which steam puts up due to Idlemaster.

Unfortunately the only way is to manually override it unless the files are edited directly. There is a user on the forum (I can give you their name if you wish) who is willing to offer that service for a donation, but at present there's no "free" version of Idlemaster which can do that. The other option available (if you don't wish to pay anything) is to use Archi's steam farm.

Get more games. Bundles are an excellent source.

Right click your CS:GO in your library. Go to properties. Local files. Verify integrity of game cache.

Then go off and do something else for the ridiculous amount of time that steam will take to do this process.
