For all other Idle Master not working problems, try the following:

1. In settings, disable quick login
   
2. Delete Idle Master's Application Data (this usually fixes can't log-in problem)
   
3. Don't run Idle Master from inside the downloaded Zip file or from odd locations
   
4. Fix Microsoft .NET Framework
   
5. Delete Internet Explorer Browsing History
   
6. Reboot PC
   
7. Check Steam and Idle Master are running at the same user level
   
8. Other things to do.
   
9. If you've tried all of the above and nothing works.

Try one, see if it works, if it doesn't then move on to the next one.

1. In settings, disable quick login

If you can't log in because the login page keeps reloading / emptying the user+password boxes then disable quick login via Menu > File > Settings > [] Quick login (top right)

2. Delete Idle Master's Application Data

Close Idle Master

Go to:

C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\IdleMaster

There's a folder like 'IdleMaster.exe_Url_3u0cjrx5her2jkf5301qgonqcd1bjdkh'
Delete it.

Start Idle Master.

Note: "AppData" is a system/hidden folder, either copy and paste the folder location or change the explorer setting so that is shows hidden folders (google it).

3. Don't run Idle Master from inside the downloaded Zip file or from odd locations

Windows is too stupid to be able to reliably run software from inside a zip file, make sure idle_master.zip is fully extracted to a new empty folder before running it from that folder. Also applications can glitch if they are run from folder locations that might have odd permissions. Try placing the idle master files in a folder like c:\program files\IdleMaster\

4. Fix Microsoft .NET Framework

Either repair Microsoft .NET Framework:

Control Panel ➡ Programs and Features ➡ Microsoft .NET Framework 4.xx ➡ Select, Choose 'Repair'.

Or download latest version from Microsoft and install it:

5. Delete Internet Explorer Browsing History

Either delete it all or delete everything steam related.

6. Reboot PC

Shut Down the PC and start it up again, start Steam, log it in then start Idle Master and log it in, if it's already logged in then it might be a good idea to log it out and log it back in again - this sometimes freshens things up.

7. Check Steam and Idle Master are running at the same user level

If Steam is running at standard level then Idle Master should run at standard level, if Steam is running as Administrator then Idle Master should run as Administrator.

8. Other Things to do

Virus check your computer with up to date anti-virus.

Disable any software that might be interfering with Idle Master or Internet Explorer.

Log out anything else that's logged in to steam other than the Steam Client and Idle Master (such as browsers).

Note: if you're tech savvy then grab autoruns from Microsoft, it's got a really cool new feature where it checks every startup's checksum at virus total - check your startups against 50+ different AV engines.

9. If you've tried all of the above and nothing works.

If you're going to post to discussions then please:
Post a NEW discussion, don't post your problem to someone else's thread unless the problem is exactly the same in which case make sure you read the replies 1st.
Include a screenshot of Idle Master main page or the login page if you can't log in.
Make the post title relevant not just 'help me', that sounds really whiny.
