I don't think it makes any difference at all, each game has it's set amoutn of time per card. If you've had the games a long time then pause/unpause or skip to next game to get some of the cards to drop fast (after a few seconds). Skip to next game will require you to restart steam idle at some point to finish farming though.

Either your internet service provider or software on your computer is blocking you. Try to reset your internet connection, or use a proxy or vpn.

See Pinned Faq, it's not faster, some people have a two hour restriction - people who have refunded steam items. They don't get cards for the 1st two hours of playing a game. So idle master can idle all games at once for two hours, then idle them individually. Idling all games at once takes proportionally longer.

Change settings if you want to.

Account is restricted so won't drop cards, you need to put $5 or more into the account to unrestrict it, you can use that money to buy gift for primary account - is what I do.

Idle master reads your badge page, linked here, it looks for 'card drops remaining'

Steam gives the cards(not idle master), it only ever gives half set number of cards.
